Petrol Mechanic

Job Summary: We are looking for a petrol Mechanic for our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining petrol- powered vehicles and equipment. The petrol mechanic should possess excellent technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high quality service to the customers.

• Job Salary: 4500 Ron
• Age limit: 30 – 40 years

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to optimal performance of petrol- powered vehicles. 
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in petrol engines, fuel systems, ignition systems, and exhaust systems.  
• Perform diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment to identify the issues accurately and efficiently.
• Replace or repair faulty components, such as pistons, valves, gaskets, belts and hoses, following manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures.
• Conduct engine tune-ups to improve fuel efficiency, engine performance and emission levels.
• Inspects and test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labour hours, and diagnostic findings.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures, findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other team members, including automotive technicians and service advisors, to prioritize tasks and maintain smooth workflow.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends through training and professional developments opportunities.

Terms and Conditions:

• Period of Employment – 2 Years (Option to Extend)

• Working Hours Per Day: 8 hours per day with one day-off per week (Overtime available)

• Taxes: All local taxes will be paid by Employer.
