Job Description & Tasks:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and electronic components in motor vehicles.
• Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions
• Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components
• Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles
• Connecting power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to power supply
• Adjusting engine control systems and timing
• Testing and replacing defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators and starter motors
• Repairing and replacing faulty ignition and electrical wiring
• Replacing defective parts such as fuses, lamps and switch etc.
Qualifications Required:
• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or:
• AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3). To pass Skill Assessment
a) If the applicant does not have formal training, then they must provide evidence of at least 5 years full time paid employment in a directly related trade, including evidence of at least 12 months full time paid employment in the nominated trade in the last 3 years before the date of application.
b) If the applicant does have formal training, then they must provide evidence of at least 3 years full time paid employment in a directly related trade, including evidence of at least 12 months full time paid employment in the nominated trade in the last 3 years before the date of application.
Other Conditions:
• No age requirement – Employer is ideally looking for candidates under age 40. (PR pathways after working for 2 years)
• Have at least 2 years working experience.
• Skills Assessment (Must Have – Trade Recognition Australia who engages RTO)
• Meeting English requirements.
• Health Insurance required.
• Meet health and character requirements.

• Photographic/Video evidence must be provided shows you conducting work task using appropriate tools and or/machinery in personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Copies of each document in original language accompanied by a copy of the English translation.
Fees: Total Fee = 15,200 AUD
(Fee includes Professional Fees, Visa Application Fees, Visa Professional Fees, Technical Interview Fees, Skills Assessment Fees.)
