Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary: We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. The diesel mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the fleet of diesel- powered vehicles and equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair and replace worn or malfunction parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems.
- Conduct through inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical system, including wiring, starters, and alternators.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in diesel engine technology.

Terms and Conditions:
- Period of Employment – 2 Years (Option to Extend)
- Food: Provided by Employer
- Accommodation: Provided by Employer
- Working Hours Per Day: 8 hours per day with one day-off per week (Overtime available)

- Insurance: Provided by Employer
- Taxes: All local taxes will be paid by Employer.
- Annual Leave: 21 working days paid per year.
