NHS Community Old Age Consultant Psychiatrist

Location: Essex, London, UK
Contract: Substantive, Full-time (10 Programmed Activities)
Salary: £105,504.00 - £139,882.00 per annum (Pro-rata)
On Call: Frequency 1:50, with a 3% Category A on-call supplement (Pro-rata)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide care to older adults with mental health needs across Havering.
• Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
• Directly work with older adults and their families, liaising with external mental health providers and acute hospitals.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
• Collaborate with health and social professionals, ensuring effective and compassionate care.

Qualifications:

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
• CCT or equivalent.
• Section 12 approval or eligibility for it.
• Approved Clinician status or eligibility.
• Inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
