NHS Community Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Consultant Psychiatrist

Location: Chelmsford, London, UK
Contract: Substantive
Salary: £105,504.00 - £139,882.00 per annum (Pro-rata)
Hours: Full-time: 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 7.5:2.5) plus 1PA optional
On Call: Frequency 1:7, Category B - 2% on-call supplement

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior medical leadership within a multidisciplinary team delivering care to children and young people with eating disorders across Essex.
• Work directly with young patients and their families, liaising with external mental health providers and hospitals as needed.
• Contribute to service development and treatment direction, with opportunities to shape care models.
• Participate in an on-call rota with a 2% on-call supplement.

Qualifications:

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
• CCT or equivalent.
• Section 12 approval or eligibility.
• Approved Clinician status or eligibility.
• Inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
