NHS Community Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: Redbridge, London, UK
Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum (Pro-rata)
Contract: Substantive
Hours: Full-time (10 Programmed Activities; DCC:SPA = 7.5:2.5)
On-call: Frequency 1:14, Category A - 3% on-call supplement
Qualifications Needed:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- CCT or equivalent
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility
- Approved Clinician status, or eligibility
- Inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
Main Responsibilities:
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs in Redbridge
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with young people and families, liaising with external CAMHS providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota (1:14 frequency) with a 3% on-call supplement
- Collaborate with team members, allowing for initiative while supporting colleagues
- Actively engage with health and social professionals and agencies

Person Specification:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- CCT or equivalent
